Thanks to the support of The National Grid Foundation, Catholic Charities of Staten Island is offering grants to Staten Islanders with low to moderate income struggling to pay their heating bills. The grant application will officially open on February 20th. All grant requests MUST be submitted online using the form below. Applicants must demonstrate that their household income is below 350% of the Federal Poverty Level (click here) and that they are currently struggling to pay their heating bills. All grant decisions and grant amounts are considered on a case-by-case basis.

Catholic Charities of Staten Island reserves the exclusive right to accept or deny any grant application at its sole discretion. Decisions regarding grant applications are made based on criteria established by Catholic Charities of Staten Island and are final. The organization is not obligated to provide justifications or explanations for its decisions and shall not be held liable for any consequences resulting from the acceptance or denial of a grant application. This is not an emergency grant that will prevent a disconnection or reinstate service that has been disconnected. If you require emergency assistance, we suggest that you apply for a One-Shot Deal through NYC Human Resources Administration (HRA). One Shot Deal – ACCESS NYC
